Even at an unusual entrance, I got in with my ticket without any problems. In the entrance area, the audio guide (already downloaded at home) could be started successfully with WiFi. I did not find the background music during the explanations helpful. After about two thirds of the tour, I lost the audio guide (or it lost me) and couldn't be called up again. But by then I had already recalled the most important things. Very nice stories about the individual sights.

The crowds were large, but that was to be expected and didn't bother us. What is surprising is the pricing policy for tickets with or without the audio guide. I bought a ticket for 27 EUR with the audio guide. The ticket is about 7 EUR more expensive than the ticket without the audio guide. The audio guide is - especially at the first stations - not very informative and not worth the money.

A good way to get an impression of Gaudi's work! However, may not be worth the price tag as the parts you can see for the blue tickets are limited in comparison to the gold/platinum tickets. It is a charming experience and the audio guide is great!

Park Guell is a beautiful park with beautiful buildings and beautiful surroundings where you also have a wonderful view over Barcelona. The buildings of Gaudi have beautiful colors and the landscape with the flora is very beautiful.

Excited about the history and very fascinated with everything. Visiting Casa Batlló and Park Güell was a truly magical experience, a total immersion in the limitless genius and creativity of Antoni Gaudí. Casa Batlló, with its undulating facade and vivid colors, looks like a dream come true. Every detail - from the bone-shaped railings to the ceramic mosaics that reflect the light as if they were waves of the sea - transmits life, movement and art. To walk through its interiors is to feel how architecture becomes visual poetry. For its part, Park Güell is a place that combines nature, art and spirituality. Its winding paths, columns inspired by tree trunks and benches covered with trencadís (ceramic mosaic) create an atmosphere that invites you to relax and admire the city from above. The views of Barcelona from the main square are simply spectacular. Both places are a testament to Gaudí's overflowing imagination and Barcelona's artistic spirit. During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

Use the Headout app for easy offline access to audio guides. Just make sure that the audio guides are downloaded before your visit. You can also switch languages within the app!

Casa Batlló

Entry is free for children under the age of 12 years. Those under the age of 18 years have to be accompanied by an adult.

Baby strollers are not allowed inside the venue, but baby carriers are available for rent at the reception.
