Gaudi's design is so distinctive. It was good to see in a domestic setting and contrast to the huge proportions of the Sagrada Familia. From the outside the whole residential complex is expressive on a larger scale. It was a pity that the day we visited it was raining & there was no access to the roof terrace. The real delight - and surprise - was the top attic level under his extraordinary brick catinary arches. The display laid out there of models, of the string catinaries, of the design sources from the natural world & of his furniture (which I don't personally like)...was brilliant & the star of the visit to Casa Mila. Why 4 stars? My audio set didn't work & my partner's, which did work, rated it as a bit dull. And blame the rain for loss of say half a star. Not fair, I know.

The experience was very nice, but I didn't like the fact that you sold "skip-the-line" tickets when, once we arrived at La Pedrera, the staff told us that skip-the-line tickets didn't exist. Everyone has to wait in the same line (skip-the-line or not). It's not very honest. Otherwise, the visit went very well.

A unique family home, a magnificent visit. I bought the Gold pass to access the private apartment and concierge service, and having priority access on arrival was the icing on the cake. This pass allows you to see and understand everything thanks to the tablet and augmented reality in certain rooms. Really great.

The visit to Casa Batlló was very special. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the magical atmosphere that Gaudí managed to create: colors, shapes and details that seem to have come out of a dream. Each room tells a story and makes you feel part of the architect's imagination. It was a surprising and very pleasant experience: a place that fills your eyes and your heart. I recommend anyone to visit Casa Batlló at least once in their life.
