Bali zoo is a really immersive experience from the start. As you walk in you walk through the deer enclosure and can choose to feed them if you want to buy some food. The rest of the zoo is very well laid out and the experiences are up close. The animals are well looked after and well fed. There is also a lot of shade which made it easier to be outside for long periods of time.

We really enjoyed the zoo. It’s close by and has lots of space, so there’s plenty of room to walk around. We liked that you can touch the animals. There’s also a pool area where children can swim, sunbathe, and go down the slides. Capybaras have now appeared, but you have to pay extra for that — something to keep in mind. Our child was absolutely happy.

Catch live bird shows, hand-feed friendly animals, snap a photo with orangutans, and meet some of the cutest wild residents at Bali Zoo.

We went to the zoo on July 4. It's a nice zoo, but we arrived at 10:30, when it was already getting hot and many of the animals were hiding in the shade and sleeping. We saw the tiger and the elephant being fed.)

The elephant mud bath is WILD. I was covered in dirt but honestly didn’t care, it’s part of the fun. Handlers were very nice and explained everything, even the silly questions. You can use your. The experience includes upclose interaction with Bali Zoo’s iconic animals, including the orangutan and elephant, for an unforgettable wildlife experience.

Nice day out. The mud bath with the elephants was cool, but I felt a little self-conscious in front of the group (not a fan of getting THAT dirty). Still, the animals are obviously well. If you go, do the elephant experience! The handlers (big shout out to Wilson—dude’s hilarious) are all so chill. I was a bit nervous at first but they made it feel safe. Did get a.
