Lots of direct interaction with the animals—elephants, parrots, and deers, plus orangutans up close. A porcupine was a surprise; it was our first time seeing one interactively at such close range. The zoo is very pleasant, and the animals are clearly cared for with love. We would recommend it to families with children, including older ones.

What a fabulous day at Bali Zoo. Breakfast with the Orangutans was wonderful. We also got to feed the elephants which was a surprise. We had a cockatoo stand on our shoulders, again a surprise. The Zoo was friendly and clean, the animals delightful to see. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our driver arrived as scheduled. The trip to the zoo from our hotel was "different" to say the least. For those people who have never experienced a taxi ride in Bali, the drivers use every short cut possible and avoid red lights by turning left and doing a u turn and then another left. The breakfast food was very good. The orangatangs came out but were up on branches and not on a "perch" at shoulder height as the photo shows. Two elephants came down to be photgraphed with. Be careful. I would recommend not feeding them, just have photo taken. The birds and other animals were brought to the breakfast area. While you can take your own photo's there are professional photographers there as well. Some of the photo's taken were really good but the price for 1 photo was 290,000rp ... about au$22. With no discount for additional ones. A bit too expensive for us. Regarding the zoo. The animals appeared to be well looked after. The grounds well maintained. It is only a small zoo so it doesn't take too long to look around. Hope this helps.

My Partner and I had the most enjoyable experience. We had the transfers package. Our driver was lovely and full of knowledge. The whole drive he kept us entertained to and from the the Zoo. The elephant mud fun was the cherry on top, we had such and amazing time with those beautiful creatures! Would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is a animal lover. Amazing day well worth the money.

Agus was our tour guide/driver for the day and what a perfect day it was!!! He went into detail about the animals there as well as looking after all our needs! Really enjoyed the experience. It is breakfast with orangutans but so much more too. The elephants make and appearance and are very interactive. I'd highly recommend the capybara feeding too! Definite highlight of our trip, thanks Bali Zoo
