The tour was very well planned from start to finish. We needed to be picked up from Krakow Glowny train station which they made very easy by picking us up at the Mercure hotel next door. Important to note that you can leave belongings on the bus when you head into Auschwitz. The tour itself was great, the museum guide Lucas was very knowledgeable and everyone in the group paid the appropriate respect to the site. Recommend bringing a bottle of water and maybe even a rain jacket to take on the tour, as Birkenau in particular has a lot of walking. Didn't take any photos except for this one as we wanted to fully immerse ourselves in understanding the history. This tour is something well worth doing and something every human should do in their lifetime. Thank you!

A wonderful tour, very well organized. Our guide, Agata, was precise and punctual, very knowledgeable, and provided detailed explanations. Her Italian was perfect, even though she isn’t Italian. The tour of the various sections of Auschwitz 1 was very moving. Personally, seeing those places of death was deeply upsetting, especially when we arrived at the gas chamber and the adjacent Crematorium 1. I was also moved at the very beginning, during those 7–8 minutes of silent walk to the entrance, listening to the names of the victims being recited at a steady pace and standing before the gate with its inscription in German; overall, however, the tour was a whirlwind of emotions at every single place we visited. Although there were many groups, everything proceeded in an orderly and respectful manner. At Birkenau, there was little to see since almost all the structures had been destroyed. We visited a dormitory barrack and one that had been used as latrines. Afterward, we made our way to one of the many transport cars used to carry the deportees, positioned on the tracks that lead directly into the camp. Birkenau is truly immense, and just seeing its sheer size sends a chill down your spine. I’d like to commend the organizers and the entire tour staff because, personally, I think it was a unique and unforgettable experience—both moving and poignant at the same time. Everything was impeccable.

We booked the Krakow: Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfers and the whole experience was absolutely brilliantly organised from start to finish. The hotel pick-up was seamless and the transfer service was excellent. Our driver was punctual, friendly and informative throughout the journey, which really helped set the tone for the day and made the travel feel comfortable and stress-free. Once we arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, the guided tour was handled with real professionalism. The guide was outstanding—very knowledgeable, clear in their explanations and able to convey the history in a respectful and engaging way. Everything was explained in depth without ever feeling rushed and there was plenty of opportunity to take in the significance of the site. The organisation, timing and communication throughout the entire day were excellent. From hotel transfer in Kraków to the guided experience itself everything ran smoothly and felt very well coordinated. Overall, it was a powerful and very well-managed tour that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Krakow.

A 3rd visit for us, az my elderly mother wantedto go and needed me to accompany her. Our pick up time was changed the day before our trip to later in the morning. That was ok but did mean we were going to be much later back into the city which was a bit late for mum to get dinner. Journey out and back were ok and our accompanying guide on the coach Magda was good. Our guide in Auschwitz, Peter, was not quite as knowlegeable as guides on previous occassions. He was also not great at managing the group. Therd were at least 2 elderly peopke in our group and although I appreciate he could not make allowances for their slower pace, they missed actually veing able to see much of walk he was talking about as he spoke as they were always last to the room and he did not encourage others in the group to move further into the rooms so these 2 people were either stuck in the doorway or in the corridor unable to see anythjng as he spoke.

To say that was an wonderful experience is not gonna describe totally what i feel. It was an one time experience and difficult to compare with anything else. All the history in that place, made me feel on one part releved that i didn't lived in those times, but on the other hand a little bit guilty couse, you know, a lot of innocent people died there for nothing. And the kids? The part with the kids was purely horror. Also, the priviledge to have such a well prepared guide and truly implicated, as Miss Izabella was, was exactly what we needed. No matter how prepared do you think are, cause it's impossible to not heard about something of a such magnitude, it perish at the moment you arrive and hear live and clear of all the atrocitys, humiliations, dehumanisings of all those people. A lot of goosebumps are crawling beneath your skin and terrifies you to the bones when you see all the hair and pairs of shoes.

I’m giving 4 stars because of the very confusing booking process. When booking, you select a departure time, but in my case it had nothing to do with the actual departure. I chose a 10:30 AM departure, but I was later informed that the real pick-up time was 5:40 AM. That’s not a minor change, and it created unnecessary stress. On top of that, finding a taxi at that hour was difficult, as several drivers cancelled or refused the ride due to the limited availability of cars. Although I was the first scheduled pick-up, the bus and the guide also arrived late. It wasn’t a long delay, but it was enough to make an already stressful morning even more worrying. That said, the guide was excellent, and the tour itself was very well organized and incredibly worthwhile. Visiting Auschwitz is a powerful and unforgettable experience that everyone should have the opportunity to experience.
