Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum was one of the most emotional and impactful experiences of my life. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organized. The instructions we received before the tour were very clear and explicit, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The WhatsApp group that was created for the visitors was also incredibly helpful and made communication and organization much easier throughout the day. A special mention must go to our guide, Eugene, who was simply fantastic. During the bus journey from Kraków to Auschwitz, he gave us a brief but very informative overview of World War II, focusing especially on the devastation caused in Poland and in Kraków itself, where we were departing from. It gave important historical context before arriving at the memorial. Throughout the entire visit, Eugene was extremely professional and deeply emotional in the way he told the story. He managed to keep us completely captivated by every detail, balancing historical facts with humanity and sensitivity in a truly remarkable way. You could feel the respect and importance he carried in every explanation. Visiting Auschwitz is, in my opinion, an essential experience for anyone traveling to Poland. It is emotionally difficult and heartbreaking at times, but it is incredibly important to learn about history in the very place where it happened. It reminds us of the horrors of the past, helps ensure that we never forget, and reinforces the hope that such tragedies are never repeated again.

We booked an Auschwitz tour for two, and the entire experience was very well organized from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, which made everything stress-free. Our guide, Nicholas, was exceptional — knowledgeable, respectful, and engaging throughout the tour. He guided us through both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, sharing powerful stories and historical details that made the experience incredibly authentic and meaningful. We were given well-timed breaks before and after Auschwitz I, as well as after Birkenau, which was much appreciated during the long day. The tour lasted around 8 hours, and every moment felt worthwhile. It was an eye-opening and deeply moving experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kraków.

Visiting these camps is a privileged opportunity to generate life long memories, so you owe to yourself to do it properly, in a smallish group with an expert guide. Jacek was outstanding: efficient. informative, balanced, wise and above all humane. Faced with this subject matter there is a risk that your emotions are either overwhelmed or shut down as a defence mechanism. But Jacek's gentle wisdom and personal insights helped me to engage more positively. I left both profounding moved and mentally challenged, which somehow translated into a take home message that was ultimately life affirming.

The trip to Auschwitz was very interesting and intense and our guide there was engaging and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed it. The transportation ran exactly as expected. The only constructive criticism is that we wish the driver had given us some information on the schedule for the day. He did not say a word the entire drive so none of us knew what to expect and waited around for him to get the tickets without knowing what was happening. It would have been nice just to know the plan. But the actual tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau was amazing.

I had a deeply moving and educational visit to Auschwitz‑Birkenau, guided by Eugen, whose knowledge and empathy made the experience truly meaningful. He explained the history with clarity and respect, creating an atmosphere that encouraged reflection and understanding. Despite the emotional weight of the place, Eugen’s guidance helped us appreciate the importance of remembering and learning from the past. A powerful and unforgettable experience.
