May 20265/5Did the Corinth, Mycenae, and Nafplion tour with my mom—what a LOVELY day! Our guide, I think her name was Eleni, knew every little fact and even some weird myths about the Corinth Canal. Canal was EPIC! Weather was perfect for May, just a light breeze. Mycenae was super cooool, could totally imagine Agamemnon stomping around. Lunch in Nafplion was tasty (the stuffed peppers hit the spot), but felt a bit rushed—wish we’d had another 20 mins just to chill by the harbor. The group was a mix of couples and a solo traveler, made for good chats. Only minus: the bus a/c was a bit meh at the start, but they fixed it. Would def recommend, especially if you love history or just want a break from Athens traffic!May 20265/5Solo trip and wow, this tour was a highlight. Our guide Dimitra had a LOT of energy—she even sang a bit of old Greek songs on the bus (was funny, not cringe). Corinth Canal gives you that ‘how did they build this?’ feeling. Mycenae was HOT, bring water or you’ll regret it. In Nafplion I just wandered the old streets and bought random soap for my grandma. Good mix of history and downtime. If you like to take pics, get ready: no photos allowed inside some museum rooms. Still, felt like I saw a new side of Greece. Would go again!Apr 20265/5I went with my partner, and honestly, it was a blast. The guide (Manos?) was super chill and had stories about every stone. Corinth Canal is wild to see in person—my pics don’t do it justice! Mycenae felt magical. Only downside was that the group was a bit big, so sometimes hard to hear the guide, but he repeated things when asked. Nafplion is sooo pretty, and we sat by the harbor with coffee. Totally recommend for couples. Be sure to bring a hat if it’s sunny!Apr 20264/5Did this with a group of friends (6 of us). The tour guide, Stavros, was friendly and knew the answer to every random question we threw at him. Corinth Canal was a quick stop—wish we’d had more time for photos. Mycenae was a trek (wear good shoes!), but the views are worth it. Lunch in Nafplion was nice, but the veggie option was just okay. The town is adorable though, very Instagrammable. A bit of waiting at the bus at the start, so bring snacks.May 20264/5Went with my wife and two teens. Guide was really engaging—she kept even my son awake, which is saying something! Mycenae ruins are something else, just wild to walk through the Lion Gate. Could’ve used a bit more time at the museum (felt rushed, tbh) but overall, the day was well balanced. Nafplion is a gem, had delish ice cream by the water. Bus was comfy but make sure to grab a seat up front if you get car sick—the roads are twisty.
