Getting started

Arrive 80 minutes before your scheduled tour to allow enough time for check-in, preparation, and the start of your guided hike. This experience is for guests aged 9 and above who can walk independently across uneven terrain and manage elevation changes. Check the forecast before you set out and wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and clothing suited to the desert conditions.

Upper Antelope Canyon hiking tour

Leave the vehicle behind and experience Upper Antelope Canyon on foot, following a guided route through the desert landscape toward its famous narrow sandstone passageways. The approximately 2-mile hiking experience combines the approach to the canyon entrance with time exploring the canyon itself, allowing you to take in the changing textures, colors, and natural light along the way.

After completing the 2-mile guided hike and Navajo Hogan visit, your tour concludes, and you can continue onward using your own transportation. Keep in mind that the mandatory Navajo permit fee and Navajo guide gratuity are not included in the tour price and are handled separately.
