Our guide Jonas told the story of Anne Frank's life in a very sensitive and authentic way. In between, he gave us time to pause and let the events of that time sink in. I can only recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the subject of the Second World War and is in Amsterdam. The tour lasted 2 hours for us. I would recommend taking the tour earlier in the day so that you can go to the museum afterwards. Unfortunately this was not possible for us as we were unable to get tickets at such short notice. The tour was so interesting for us that we would have liked to have had a look at the local area afterwards.

We really enjoyed the guided tour with Joseph. We were happy to have paid for this activity for us and our children aged 13 and 16, we completed our knowledge of the Second World War and discovered the city of Amsterdam. Thank you, Joseph. On the other hand, on the canal cruise, we were poorly placed, so we didn't get a good view of the various monuments. The explanations in the headphones were brief, and the buttons to change the language didn't work. The captain's speech was supposed to be interesting, but we didn't understand it. (English). Perhaps another company would be more appropriate.

The Anne Frank tour was informative. It was difficult hearing our guide talk the way she did. She American accent and mannerisms were difficult to reconcile with the information being shared. My husband's grandfather was a victim of the Amsterdam deportations and was murdered at Auswitz. I think iris needs to know her enthusiasm needs to be toned down. I would have given a lower review score but I am aware iris was just being herself, she knew the material. But, it did affect how we experienced the tour.

Our guide, Sylvia, was wonderful, passing on elements of history and memory that added a great deal of emotion to our 2-hour visit in French, based on the story of Anne Frank.
