Great to hear about the impressive Heineken history. Fun facts and, at the end, entertaining things to do as well. The English-speaking lady who led the tour was in quite a rush, so she spoke very fast and started before everyone was even there. She was often hard to understand, even for native English speakers in my group. It would also be better to give visitors headsets, as in the large brewing room she used a loudspeaker, which created a lot of echo.

The tour was sensational. They tell the story of Heineken and let you experience the brewing process firsthand, as well as have fun and interact with the group. There was also a rooftop that I didn't get the chance to go to, but without a doubt, it must be spectacular as well.

Entry was really smooth, all the staff were really friendly and funny. The venue was laid out really well with some cool exhibits. We paid extra for the roof top bar which had a lovely view and allowed you to try different heinekens which was very cool.

I twisted my knee on the way to this excursion making me late. I almost didn't even try to go, but I thought... at least I can do the Heineken Experience. Well it was FABULOUS! Sepp and Frost checked me in, gave me ice for my knee and Sepp escorted me through on a wheelchair. I met Mia, Violeta and Jakub as well who were amazing people. Unfailingly kind is an understatement. "Proust!!!!" To the Heineken family for their legacy of fantastic beer but also for their people. They are amazing!

Getting started

Arrive at the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam and have your ticket checked at the entrance. As the experience is strictly 18+, bring a valid ID. Once inside, follow the route through the former brewery and make your way through the different areas at your own pace.

What to expect

Walk through Heineken’s original Amsterdam brewery and learn about the brand’s history, brewing heritage, and production process through the exhibits and live presentation.
