Your Experience

Once you hop into your luxury helicopter at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport, you will set off on your stunning, 15 minute aerial tour of the city. Soar above New York and get up close to the landmarks that form the city's enchanting skyline. Your route will first take you past the Governer's Island, right adjacent to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, which has been a welcoming beacon to visitors to the New World for over a century!

Cruise up the length of Manhattan until Central Park before making your way back and getting a closer look at the iconic parts of the city, like the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings and Times Square, practically synonymous with New York itself. Get a closer look at the U.S.S. Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and admire the organized chaos that is Chelsea Piers. Soar past the West Village and Tribeca before you can examine Ground Zero and see the 9/11 Memorial, in remembrance of the day that changed the city forever. You will then make your way back to the heliport, having experienced New York in a way that most people never get to!

Know Before You Go

In the next step of the booking, you'll have to choose between two options. Please choose the one that suits your needs better. The options are:

Without Heliport Fee: If you choose this option, you will have to pay $40 in cash when you arrive at the heliport before you board your flight. This can be a bit of a hassle if you're giving the experience as a gift or booking for someone else, especially when there are no savings involved as both options cost the same.

With Heliport Fee: If you choose this option, the heliport fee will be included in the price that you pay at the time of checkout, saving you the trouble of having to deal in cash and ensuring that the check in goes smoothly and in a timely manner.

I thought the tickets were pretty expensive to begin with (I mean come on, it is 15 minutes after all) and was furious to find out that we were expected to pay $40 more at the heliport! While this did ruin the ride a little for me, I took the liberty of going back to the website I’d booked my tickets from and complained to them. I got a free coupon which definitely made up for the loss, but I wish I wouldn’t have missed the excitement on the ride. Oh well.

I WAS HEART BROKEN when I found out that our tickets had been cancelled that very day because of “weather issues”. Yeah, we got a full refund and everything, but I was very upset.
