The trains are very regular , clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was such a relief after the heat of the sun. Nice journey through countryside. My only issue was the return journey didn't work on the scanner at station. Go to guys on gate rather than keep trying it they will let you straight through, rather than standing there getting frustrated.

A very efficient service characterized by punctuality, easy access to the platforms, very friendly staff, and accommodations for those who need stair-free access. We were traveling with a newborn and a stroller, and they helped us by sparing us the “traditional” walk and letting us skip every line.

The trip went smoothly and on time. The only issue was the print@home tickets with QR codes, which couldn't be scanned at the checkpoints despite their good quality. In the UK, however, there are always staff on site to open the gate.

Great. It was very easy to get on the train after arriving at the airport. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance. It definitely saves time. Compared to the subway, the train is absolutely first-class.

There may be extra charges of £8 per bag for excess luggage.

If you're traveling to/from Stratford London, please note that there is no direct train. You'll need to change trains at Tottenham Hale to connect with the Stansted Express. To avoid any delays, we recommend allowing extra time when planning your journey, especially if you're catching a flight.
