For those getting off the boat, buses depart from the port starting at 8:30 a.m. and run every 30 minutes. Return buses depart from the Acropolis approximately every 30 minutes.

The buses were always on time, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes; the staff at the stops were super friendly; there were comfortable headphones to listen to some historical commentary on the various sites; the buses were clean; and the price for a day of exploring Athens was really affordable. It’s the perfect way to avoid getting overwhelmed by the different transportation options and get a great overview of the city without getting tired.

Great value for money. First day did three of the routes . Saw many of the sites of athens. Highly recommend. One thing to note. If you want to hear the recorded commentary, earphones are not provided.
