For me, it was definitely impressive. Seeing the cradle of knowledge, the birthplace of various sciences that are today the legacy of this great civilization, seeing the Parthenon, seeing the Acropolis and the Temple of Athena... it is breathtaking after so many years, and the craftsmanship of such impressive monuments transports you back in time. Seeing a great civilization and everything it has withstood throughout history is truly impressive and beautiful, and from the summit it looks like a citadel governing or protecting this great land. Thank you for allowing the rest of the world to enjoy history through this wonderful site.

KeyTours provided an excellent experience from booking through to completion of our Acropolis tour. Communication was timely and concise. Representatives and guide were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend KeyTours when looking for tours in Athens.

It was one of the coolest things we have ever experienced. The history that is preserved is just incredible! The crowds weren't bad at all and the weather was perfect🥰

For me, visiting the Acropolis couldn't have been better. I am very grateful to all the staff who assisted me so kindly. I have reduced mobility; a taxi took me right to where they sell the tickets, and since I had already bought them online, I went straight to the green gated entrance, where a very nice lady assisted me. I went in and waited for Sofía to take me in a buggy to the elevator. There was a very pleasant gentleman there as well, and the elevator played classical music. It has glass walls, so you can see all of Athens. On the way back, before going down, the staff in charge told me to wait sitting in the shade; they were wonderful. Afterwards, I went into the museum, where they lent me a wheelchair and didn't charge me for admission.

The Acropolis hit different in person: the late‑afternoon sun turned the Parthenon gold, the crowds moved in a rhythm that never felt overwhelming, and the whole place had this calm, cinematic energy. I loved slowing down to notice the carvings, the textures, the smaller corners people usually rush past, and the audio guide actually made me appreciate what I was seeing instead of just ticking off a landmark. By the time I took my selfie with the Parthenon behind me, it felt like one of those rare travel moments where everything aligns — good weather, good energy, and a place that genuinely deserves its hype.

We did a complete round trip hop on hop off(15 stops). About one hour. There was a stop very close to our hotel. On the second time around we planned our stops based on the time we had to sightsee. The drivers were all helpful. Our acropolis tour started before the HoHo started for the day. We enjoyed the Acropolis and the museum was very interesting. Glad we had purchased the tickets all in advance.

A must-see in Athens. A place steeped in ancient history. The giant columns of the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena, and the remaining ruins give the impression of stepping back in time. You can almost imagine Greek warriors... Just the realization that Socrates once strolled through these very streets is an amazing feeling. It is well worth seeing the history of the civilization that laid the foundations for everything we know.
