The guided tour itself was great and enjoyable, although it was packed in the gallery. The lead up was very confusing though as there were lots of tour guides and people at the meeting point and no one was holding signs saying who they were or which tour was which. We had to approach several people to work out where we were meant to be,then there was a really long wait in the heat for a load more people to turn up, so we were not quite the small group I had hoped for. Then there was another long wait in the so called skip the queue line. However the gallery experience was good despite the crowds and David is an absolutely amazing spectacle and it was great to have the guide explain everything in more detail than we would have learned on our own.

This was very well arranged. We arrived at the provided address, and someone was waiting for us. He handed us the headphones and explained to us everything. The guide arrived exactly at the arranged time. The entrance was smooth and without any lines. The guide was super knowledgeable, and the experience was great. I recommend it 100% despite the extra price compared to the official ticket sold on the official website (please note that this site is NOT the official Accademia site and this price is much more expensive but includes the "skip the line" and the guide plus the official tickets were not available when we were there).

Advertising said audio tour so I didn't expect live guide. Guide was good. Provided useful basic information. Better than going to Accademia without a guide. Was appreciative to be able to buy these "skip the line" tickets the day before. However, when we arrived, we learned that 1st Sunday of every month, entry is free and guided tours do not get option to skip line. We waited in line about 15 minutes. Guide used time to give us background information. All said, we were glad to enjoy the Academia with guided support.

I liked that we met our guide near the gallery vs some obscure address we're unaware of. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared many tidbits with our group. Although the gallery was full of other groups, we were still able to get close to the art for a wonderful viewing. We'd highly recommend and will always use head out for future tours.

While the crowd seemed chaotic when we walked down the street to meet our guide, it was extremely well organized and well run. We had a nice small group with an excellent guide. The tour was nicely done. Not too long, not too short. We could stay as long as we wanted after which was nice. All in all I'm glad we booked this!
