Itinerary

Day 1: Dhow Cruise and Dinner

A delectable spread awaits you on the deck of a traditional dhow on the first evening of your tour. Enjoy local delicacies such as dates, coffee, and fruit juice as you gaze at the brilliantly lit city of Dubai from your unique vantage point.

Day 2: Dubai City Tour + Desert Safari

Begin the day with a quick city tour that features some of the city’s well-known architectural masterpieces. Marvel at the towering minarets of the Jumeirah Mosque, click photos of the Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa and bask in the splendour of the King’s Palace. You will also see all this and more from the comfort of your tour bus.

Shortly after your city tour, leave the bustling metropolis behind and venture into the desert. There are few activities as thrilling or visceral as a dune bashing session on your very own 4x4 vehicle. Visit the Bedouin base camp and enjoy a wide range of interesting activities such as henna painting, sandboarding, shisha smoking, and camel riding. An authentic Bedouin dinner coupled with a belly dance serves as the perfect conclusion to the night!

Day 3: Tour of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Aquarium, and Dubai Fountain

Visit the iconic Dubai Aquarium that houses a whopping 400 sharks, stingrays, and a host of other fascinating sea creatures. Walk through the reinforced tube way that affords a 270-degree view of this charming aquatic paradise.

Head to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and ascend to the observation deck on the 124th floor. Know Before You Go

Important Information

Keep in mind that it is considered proper etiquette in Dubai to tip for certain services (porters, room cleaners, valets, taxi drivers, and at restaurants).
The UAE dress code is more relaxed than other areas in the Middle East, but most of Dubai’s residents dress conservatively. Ensure your clothing is tasteful and not too revealing or see-through.
During Ramadan (roughly between mid-May and mid-June) the city shuts down during the day (restaurants stay closed and it is illegal to smoke, drink and eat in public during this holy timespan). However, the city sparks back to life in the evening.

Best Time to Travel to Dubai

The cooler months of December, January, and February extend a pleasant Mediterranean climate, making it the ideal time to visit Dubai. However, this is the peak tourist season, so rates skyrocket around this time. The city boils from March to September, but the rates fall significantly (as much as 75%). If you don’t mind hopping between air-conditioned hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls, there’s no wrong time to visit Dubai.
