holy s&&t the wheels of cheese inside the cellar was such a rush.!!! of course the cheese tasting session was equally swoon-worthy , you also get to sample cow's milk

Admire its medieval castle along the way, and travel through the rolling hills of the Appenzellerland. Make sure to keep your camera ready: there will be photo stops en route! Head over to a typical Swiss farm and try a glass of fresh cow milk. Visit an enchanting herb garden of a natural cosmetics manufacturer and discover how natural Swiss milk and herbs are turned into Switzerland's tangiest cheese at the Appenzeller show dairy in Stein (AR). Gasp at the imposing cellar here - it stores up to 12,500 wheels of cheese! Enjoy a session of cheese tasting and try guessing the top-secret ingredients of the Appenzeller cheese.

Later, board the aerial cable car up to Hoher Kasten and fall in love with the 360-degree views around you. This includes the majestic Alpstein massif, the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance, the Principality of Lichtenstein, and Austria. Follow this up with regional lunch at the revolving restaurant (not included in your ticket) before descending into the valley. Your tour guide will then take you on a walk through the charming village of Appenzell. Learn about the age-old traditions and customs of the region and browse through the local shops.
