Getting started
After your museum visit, or before, if you’d rather start outdoors, make your way to the southeast corner of Central Park. Scan your ticket at the zoo entrance and step into one of NYC’s most charming green hideaways.
What to expect
The Central Park Zoo offers a calm, easygoing experience surrounded by greenery and wildlife. Walk along cozy pathways to meet penguins, sea lions, red pandas, tropical birds, and more, all in thoughtfully designed habitats. Don’t miss the sea lion feeding sessions, and if you’re traveling with kids, the Tisch Children’s Zoo adds extra fun with interactive encounters.
