Il s'agit de ma première comédie musicale et j'y ai emmené ma maman et mes 3 garçons de 10, 8 et 7 ans. Ils connaissaient le livre que je leur avais lu en français et avait vu le film en français donc finalement l'anglais n'a vraiment pas été une barrière. Je les ai vu épustoufflés devant tous ces décors, les comédiens passent dans le public pour sortir de scène, on est plongé dans l'histoire! Ils ont même reconnu quelques mots anglais ! Les acteurs sont épatants, surtout les enfants ! Un expérience d'une vie ! Je conseille vivement !

Matilda pulls off the rare feat of turning a well-known story into a completely new experience. Everything feels out of this world, from the staging to the flawless performances of the cast and the special effects. Without spoiling anything, expect to be very, very surprised. Just a note: we’re French and have a good command of English, and we were able to follow around 80–90% of the dialogue, but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone whose English is only okay-ish, as some stretches of dialogue are quite long.

The musical, Matilda, is just incredible!! The actors, the scenery, the lighting, the music...I've waited many years to see a musical in London and now that I have a young daughter , this was our debut. The story is filled with excitement, laughter and just the right amount of sadness to make the experience whole and unforgettable. We were seated on row L 24, 25 in the stalls area and we could see everything. My daughter borrowed a cushion for extra height.

Tha stage was done to create the whimsy that was to come. The entire cast was so talented and charmed you throughout. The stage settings we're clever and delightful and the choreography was amazing. It was just a one delight from beginning to end in full of humor. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to see it.

Atmosphere was great Cambridge theatre was perfect and we had a really good view. The kids were amazing and the singing and dancing was brilliant. Matilda was perfect. Our granddaughter aged 8 years had read the book which helped her to enjoy the differences in the show. She loved it!

Simply brilliant staging, acting, costuming, characterization, corriography and all cast beautifully portrayed their character. I am a drama teacher from Australia and staying in London for 5 days. Well worth coming to the show 🎭🥳🏆👏🏻

The story

The musical, Matilda, is just incredible!! Wunderbares Musical und tolle Performance, vor allem von den Kindern. Die Sitze im upper circle waren sehr gut . Nur der Eingangsbereich im upper circle war sehr eng.
