the skip the line tickets helped us get in in about 15-20 minutes, including the security check, which made everything a pleasant experience. the whole tour we did, a little rushed, took about 2.5 hours. we initially wanted to stay longer in certain museums and skip others, but we didn't know that to get to the Sistine Chapel for example, you have to go through all the museums, because you enter from one to the other, but somehow at the end of the day this was a good thing, because we saw (I think) everything. inside it wasn't overly crowded, except for the moments when we suddenly met 2-3 groups. we ate at the museum restaurant and the food was good and at an ok price. it was a superb museum and made our day wonderful

É a melhor opção comprar com a Hedout. As filas de entrada no museu são imensas e tudo é muito confuso. Importante é chegar com 20 minutos de antecedencia do seu horário agendado. Com familia se programe para chegar com 30 minutos de antecedência.

Unfortunately my trip came to an end, fortunately though, the last part of my trip towards the airfield was very relaxed. Not crowded, or in any case, didn't feel like it might have been. Because people were helpfull, friendly and the signs directed us passengers, perfectly to the right train at the right time. As a matter of fact, it went so well, that because I was early, I could even change my trainride to an earlier and yet more convenient time, which saved me 30 minutes, which mad the flight and checkin at the airport also much more pleasant. Seats were great, long legs no problem. Room enough for suitcases and the rails were almost quiet.

Overall, this service worked well for us. When tickets were no longer available on the official website, we were still able to purchase them here and successfully visit the Vatican without any issues. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is important to understand that you need to arrive at a specific meeting point, from where you will be guided to the Vatican. The instructions say to arrive 15 minutes in advance, but I would recommend coming at least 20 minutes earlier to be safe. The only downside, and something that can be a bit misleading, is related to the “skip the line” aspect. You do skip the ticket office line, but you still have to wait in line for the security check to enter the museum. In our case, we spent about 30 to 40 minutes standing in the sun. Luckily, we visited in April in the late afternoon, so the weather was still manageable. However, I can imagine that during summer, especially around midday, this could be much more uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend bringing water, a hat, or even an umbrella for sun protection.

I signed up at the airport to get tickets for the Leonardo express train. The process was pretty easy, but I highly recommend downloading the Headout app in advance since cellular coverage and WiFi signal strength are so poor at the Fuimicino airport. But that minor challenge has nothing to do with the excellent HeadOut service.
