The experience at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel was really out of this world. The skip the line entry was arranged professionally by Headout and was seemless managed. Precise instructions were given to all, of the various stages of security and how to go about once inside the museum and what it holds. The guides are very well versed and have extensive knowledge of the history of the museum the significance of all the articles exhibited there and give clear guidance during the guided tour. The Vatican Museum is spread out across multiple floors and occupies a lot of space. It has huge collection of countless ancient artefacts. Holy relics, paintings, rugs painted beautifully, many religious items, regliega and all kinds of very old items of the Roman era. All these are very well preserved, well secured and meticulously maintained and well secured. The Sistine Chapel is a part of the Vatican Museum and was painstakingly painted primarily by Michelangelo Buonarroti who created its famous ceiling and the altar wall fresco. It is a awesome feeling to be within this sacred chapel and a very inspiring experience. Definitely recommend to avail the professional and reasonably priced services of a very efficient and well managed organisation, Headout for the guided tours at the Vatican Museum,Sistine Chapel and the Bascillica at St Peter’s Square.

Avevamo già provato il giorno prima ad entrare ai Musei Vaticani senza biglietto prenotato, ma abbiamo desistito dopo un pò perché la coda era troppo lunga e il caldo era insopportabile. Nel sito ufficiale dei Musei Vaticani, dopo vari tentativi, non siamo riusciti a prenotare. Guardando nel web ci siamo imbattuti in Headout e con grande facilità siamo riusciti a prenotare per l'indomani. L'hostess ci ha accompagnati all'ingresso dei Musei, fornendoci le informazioni più importanti per l'accesso. Siamo felici di aver potuto visitare i Musei, ne è valsa veramente la pena, e durante il percorso ci siamo più volte ripetuti che senza Headout non ce l'avremo mai fatta. Consiglio vivamente questa agenzia.

Konum olarak müze girişinin biraz yukarısında yolun karşısında buluşma noktası veriliyor. İçeride çalışanlar zamanı yaklaşana saat yazılı yapışkan verilerek zaman bekleniyor. Sıra bekleyenlerin olduğu bölgede sağ taraftan sıraya dahil oluyorsunuz fakat sıra çok hızlı ilerliyor. 3-4 dakikada ilk kapı kontrolünden geçiyorsunuz. Rehber sizi tüm noktalardan beklemeden müze giriş kapısına kadar götürüp içeri sokuyor. Sonrası size kalmış. Çok büyük bir müze. Herhalde bazı bölgelerini gezemedim. La guía muy atenta, nos explicó todo antes de dejarnos en la entrada. Empezamos por el museo Gregoriano, íbamos despacio, observando todo, cuando nos dimos cuenta el tiempo que nos llevó, nos dijimos que nos teníamos que apurar porque no íbamos a alcanzar a ver todo... Estuvimos 7 horas y no llegamos a ver todo!! Es para volver 2 o 3 veces...

Skipping the regular queue with our ticket was an absolute lifesaver. We saw hundreds of people waiting outside in the heat, and walking straight in through the dedicated entrance was such a relief. We got into the museums in just a few minutes, which left us more time to fully enjoy the amazing art and the Sistine Chapel.

Es war alles super organisiert und wir waren innerhalb von 10 min komplett in den Museen. Der Guide brachte uns bis zur letzten Einlasskontrolle. Topp. Uns war nicht ganz klar wo wir zur gebuchten Zeit sein sollten und fragten vorher im Office nach. Auch dort war eine nette Dame für uns da.

Our skip the line tickets were the best as we walked towards the entrance there were queues everywhere and our tour operaters just showed us the way through security and bag checks the vatican and sistine chapel whete well worth seeing didnt realise it was sooo huge

It was very easy to get into the museum, leaving the others waiting in a very long line. The museums were massive, and apparently 4 miles long

If you wish to leave Rome or have just arrived aboard the Leonardo Express, quickly reach the destination of your choice.

This method is the quickest alternative to all public transportation options, including lines to Florence, Bologna, Milan, Venice, and Naples/Salerno. When you land at the Airport, move to the station within the premise and catch the train which leaves every 15 minutes.

Rome Termini Railway Station is conveniently located in the center of the city allowing you multiple options to explore from here. You can take the exit onto Via Marsala to the right side, Via Giolitti to the left, or Piazza Dei Cinquecento straight away. If Rome Termini is not your final destination, it is super easy to catch a taxi or go for Metro lines A and B. You can also find options for various bus routes from this point.

Upon entering, you will be free to roam the Museum and Sistine Chapel at your own pace. The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel boast the finest artwork ever to be made. Made up of 54 galleries, the Vatican Museums house one of the largest, and also the most important, collections of Renaissance art in the world. Built in the 15th century, the Sistine Chapel's walls and ceilings are covered in some of the most wonderful frescoes ever produced.

The 54th gallery of the Vatican Museums is the famed Sistine Chapel. Initially built in the 15th Century, the paintings by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel were painted in the 16th century. Palatine Hill offers one of the best views of the city. Once considered the most desirable neighborhood in Rome, Palatine Hill lives on an extensive archaeological site and was the chosen spot for Emperors to build their homes.

Leonardo Express

Departures are scheduled every 15 minutes throughout most of the day and are guaranteed even in the event of a strike, potentially with a replacement bus service.

One child between the age of 4-12 can travel free of cost with one paying adult.

With canine registration certificates and a proper safe carrier, you can bring your dogs, cats, or other pets free of cost.

Guard dogs are allowed on board free of cost.

There are no limitations on the number of luggage that you can bring along for the journey.

Leonardo Express trains are accessible to travelers with reduced mobility.

Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

Dress Code: Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Your head, knees, and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We recommend you carry a shawl or a scarf to cover your head.

People with wheelchair disabilities get free entry. The Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire from the cloakroom.

The Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (with certified disability exceeding 74%). Additionally, in the case of visitors lacking in self-sufficiency, free entry is extended to their companions.

Certification of disability must be shown before the issue of the entrance tickets either at the Reception or at the Special Permits Desk, located in the entrance hall of the Vatican Museums.

Restrictions

Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

The tour assistants will help you enter the Vatican Museums and services will end with the ticket delivery at the entrance (lobby) of the Museums.

It is not recommended to bring strollers to the Vatican Museums as there are multiple staircases across the museum.

There is a security check at the entrance of the Vatican Museum.

Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Your tickets are timed so you must enter the Colosseum at the time slot selected at the time of booking.

Guests have a flexible entrance to the Palatine and Forum at any time during their selected activity date. The tickets for the Palatine and Forum will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time is selected during booking.

Child tickets are open-time and their entry depends on the Adult visiting with them.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE. Re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket.

Please note that entry to the Colosseum is free on the first Sunday of every month.

It is recommended to wear comfortable attire and walking does as there is a fair amount of walking involved.

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers would not be accommodated.

The attractions remain closed on 25 Dec and 1 Jan.

You will be denied entry if you do not carry a valid ID or passport with you and present it at the time of entry if requested.

For safety and security reasons, no large backpacks or pieces of luggage are allowed inside the Colosseum.

The mandatory security check can take 30 min or more. To make the security checks quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.
