We loved everything about the Blue Lagoon! We tried.the silica mask enjoyed a refreshing drink then experienced the saunas which were amazing. After riding g the Icelandic for 3 days in a row the hot waterfall felt amazing on our neck, shoulders and back! We left feeling relaxed and pain free. Beautiful place and great restaurant and gift shop.

This was one of the best things we did on the day of arrival from KEF. We got our rental car and headed straight to BLUE LAGOON. We showered and hit the lagoon for drinks and face masks. There's no time limit, so we stayed for over 2 hours. It was beautiful and so relaxing. The weather was in the 50's and the geothermal waters of the warm lagoon felt amazing. Highly recommend, especially if flying in to KEF.

We love the Blue Lagoon! It's never overcrowded (we like to go earlier in the morning) and the temps are wonderful. The quiet zone is very nice and the masks are fantastic. The locker rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff are very friendly. We also used the luggage storage this year which was very handy, convenient and easy! Don't miss it!!

The Blue Lagoon was everything advertised. Bring your swimsuit, towels are provided. The water was very warm and the free mask was great. The ticket on the app didn't scan but she looked up my name in the system and that worked.

My wife and me visited Blue Lagoon Iceland in July 2026, and it was a truly unforgettable experience! Nestled in a stunning lava field, the lagoon’s vibrant blue waters are a sight to behold, contrasting beautifully with the rugged landscape. The facilities are top-notch. The changing rooms are clean and spacious, and the saunas offer a perfect escape. I loved lounging in the warm water while sipping a refreshing drink from the in-water bar. The complimentary silica mud mask was a delightful addition to the visit! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant—highly recommend the seafood! Overall, Blue Lagoon is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Iceland. It’s a perfect blend of relaxation and natural beauty that you simply can’t miss! We spent almost five hours there, and it felt like no time at all. When we finally left the Blue Lagoon, we felt incredibly relaxed after experiencing this out of the world spot, promising ourselves to return one day, insha’Allah.

Blue Lagoon Iceland

What to bring

Make sure you carry swimwear, as it is required to enter the Blue Lagoon.

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking.

What’s not allowed

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

Children under the age of 2 are not allowed in the lagoon.

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed in the lagoon area.

Pets are not permitted inside the Blue Lagoon.

Accessibility

The Blue Lagoon is wheelchair accessible, with accessible changing rooms and lagoon entry available.

Accessible restrooms are provided on-site for convenience.

Additional information

The departure point for transfers is at BSÍ Bus Terminal in downtown Reykjavík.

Pickup starts 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

Children aged 2 to 8 must wear inflatable armbands, which are provided free of charge, while in the lagoon.

Each adult may supervise a maximum of two children under the age of 12, and children aged 12 and older pay the full adult price.

Showers and changing facilities are available and must be used before entering the lagoon.

Tickets are valid for up to 6 hours from the time of first activation.

Meals and spa treatments are not included unless specified in your ticket.

The Blue Lagoon can be busy during peak hours (11am-3pm). For a quieter experience, consider booking early morning (before 11am) or late afternoon (post 3pm) slots.

The geothermal water temperature ranges between 37–39°C (98–102°F), making it enjoyable in both summer and winter.

Free Wi-Fi is available on the coach transfer.
