The glasses' software generates holograms that blend seamlessly with the current ruins, revealing the original appearance of key temples, homes, and structures.
Historical insights with audio guide
You'll also receive an audio guide in five languages, providing historical insights for each attraction as you explore Herculaneum, transporting you back to the days of the ancient Roman Empire. After the 3D tour, you're free to wander Herculaneum at your leisure. Be sure to visit the remarkably preserved ancient theater, the Suburban Baths, and the intriguing Boat Houses, which are thought to have served as boat storage.

- This is an augmented reality tour, and it doesn't require a traditional tourist guide. The Tour Assistant will greet participants, provide tour equipment, and stay with them throughout the tour.
