Inspired by true events, the show follows four legendary musicians navigating decades of political change, from the 1950s to the rise of Fidel Castro and beyond. Their journey leads to an unforgettable collaboration in 1997, when they record Buena Vista Social Club, a landmark album that takes the world by storm. Featuring an extraordinary cast of musicians, dancers, and actors from across the globe, the show is an immersive, all-Spanish-language experience, pulsing with the sounds of Son, Danzón, and Bolero. After a celebrated Off-Broadway run, where it racked up multiple award nominations, Buena Vista Social Club has arrived on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, under the direction of Tony nominee Saheem Ali, with choreography by Patricia Delgado & Justin Peck.
