The experience was less enjoyable for me because it was incomprehensible to me why the explanations were given only in English and not in Dutch. It all went much too fast and was difficult for me, a 1944-born Dutchman with a reasonable command of English, to follow. The indication of raw materials was also only in English. The only Dutch word spoken during the presentation was "PROOST."

Getting started
Arrive 10-15 minutes early, and bring your ID because Heineken doesn’t serve without it, and this one’s 18+ only! Then, head to Xtracold Icebar Amsterdam's check-in desk with your ticket and ID (18+ only!). After a quick security check, you’ll gear up in thermal coats and gloves before stepping into a frozen world made from 35 tons of ice.
