Osaka Namba Chopstick-Making Workshop with Kanji Engraving

Experience traditional Japanese craftsmanship in Osaka by creating your own personalized pair of chopsticks.

Choose your favorite from more than 10 types of wood, each with its own color, grain, weight, and character. This premium experience includes access to our premium wood selection, including rare Yakusugi and woods with unique natural colors and grain patterns. Some wood options are normally priced at up to ¥8,000 at our studio, but are included in this experience.

Once you've chosen your wood, experience the chopstick-making process yourself, from shaping and sanding to oiling and finishing. Our friendly English-speaking staff will guide you through each step, so no previous experience is needed.

Custom name engraving is also included. Personalize your chopsticks with your name or a special word. You can also use our original Kanji dictionary to transform your name into unique Japanese Kanji characters and watch your chopsticks being engraved in front of you.

Your finished chopsticks are ready to take home the same day, giving you a unique and personal souvenir from Japan that you created yourself.

Enjoy the experience in a relaxed studio with friendly staff. You can also explore our selection of Japanese souvenirs and discover other traditional experiences, including Kintsugi.

With premium woods and custom engraving included, create an extra-special memory of your time in Osaka.

You can cancel these tickets up to 24 hours before the experience begins and get a full refund.
