An immense and historic salt mine, now used for tourism, with restaurants and a spa inside, as well as a huge hall used as a church. 380 steps to descend along an entirely wooden section. More steps later, but always going down, as well as some long corridors to walk. Traumatic at the end, when the guide finishes their job, because to reach the elevator you have to walk in groups for about 1 km. And the elevator takes you to the center of the town, so it's about another 5-minute walk to get back to the parking lot. The tour is worth it, and the Italian-speaking guide was thorough. Too bad those at the back of the group often couldn't hear the guide over the radio. The driver Oliver, who took us to the mine, was excellent.

A wonderful experience—the tour was perfectly organized, both the bus, which was very punctual, and the guide, Giovanna, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, 5 stars

The visit to the mine was impressive. Definitely must be included in your Krakov visit itinerary. I sort of expected that we will be guided as a group, but it was more like organized transportation. At the mine we were given individual tickets and joined another group of individuals. But yes, we did skip the line, we waited some 10-15 min, but the line was huge. And this was good.

Definitely a must-do if you're in Krakow. Great guide and smooth transportation. However, we had to rush at the end because we didn’t really have “fast-track” access due to an issue. It wasn’t really the organization’s fault, but it was a bit of a shame for us that we couldn’t spend a little more time looking around.

A flawless experience from start to finish! The tour was incredible and extremely interesting. Without a doubt, the best part was the guide: super professional, passionate, and exceptionally knowledgeable, which made every stop worthwhile. The logistics through the Headout app were flawless. The bus transportation was phenomenal: super comfortable, on time, perfectly organized, and with excellent air conditioning—which was greatly appreciated on both the outbound and return trips. Highly recommended! I would definitely book through them again.

It’s impossible not to admire the work of the miners who carved through the salt rock to create these two chapels, and the carpenters who built these wooden frameworks. Magnificent work. The artificial saltwater lake is also remarkable. The French-speaking guide was excellent.

Our tour guide was outstanding. The formations, the information and all were great. It was excellent. The entry and exit were NOT excellent, especially the exit. After walking that much, standing in line for 30 minutes to exit was terrible.

Easy pick up, comfortable vehicle, poorly organised on collection at the end of the tour. We toured the mines on 28 July. The mine tour guide was apparently supposed to take the group back to the starting point at the end of the tour which she did not do. She told us that we should follow the indidivual tourists lines to exit the mines, she did not take us nor inform us how to rejoin the driver. The general exit point was on the other side of the village from where we entered the mines. Naturally that left us bewildered as to where we were or how we were to rejoin the driver at the collection point. When we found the group, the driver, Mr. Mariusz, said the confusion was not his fault and appeared annoyed at being questioned. Perhaps it was not his fault but there was a total disconnect that left us uncertain as to how to handle the problem. A call to the office helped but information should have been provided at the drop off point as to how things worked and where the mine guide should have left us. Not much more work but an essential point, conveying information to paying clients is what makes a packge tour complete and succesful.
