After having trouble the first time booking, I had to book again but the day was enjoyable lots of walking involved but was nice and cool in the heatwave, main concern not much of break time to allow drink and toilet, and also don't drink too much as toilet is quite a way, Otherwise worth a visit

We did have a misfire on our hotel pickup time but they did correct it (after a phone call), and our actual driver was a very decent fellow. The tour itself was excellent. But, since they are very meticulous with ensuring headcount's in and out of the mine you do have some periodic wait times. The mine is absolutely fascinating.

It’s an extraordinary experience to discover these masterpieces created by the miners.... It’s hard to believe that anyone could have been so skilled and creative with such a simple material. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Wieliczka Salt Mine was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Poland. Descending deep underground into a world carved entirely from salt was both fascinating and breathtaking. The chapels, sculptures, and vast chambers showcase incredible craftsmanship and history. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the mine’s story to life. Despite the many stairs, the tour was well-paced and absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting the Kraków area, this is a must-see attraction that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.

Last week
The driver was punctual and very kind; he sent us a message on WhatsApp with the van’s license plate number and make. We were lucky to be the only two passengers, so it was like having a private transfer. He took care of getting our tickets for us, saving us from the long line, and gave us all the necessary information. Only the English-language tour was available at the time we could go, but everyone speaks very clearly. I highly recommend it!

What’s not allowed

Baby strollers, baby carriages, and luggage or bags larger than 30 x 20 x 10 cm are not permitted inside the mine.

Smoking and the use of open fire in the mine are strictly forbidden.

Alcohol and drugs are not allowed.

Animals are not permitted in the mine. The mine does not offer animal shelters.
