Everything was great until we left. About 7 people from our tour group left the gift shop at the exit (it's in another building on the surface) and became lost and walked in circles because there was zero direction from anyone on the tour about where to go after you exit. No signs or anything. We eventually found someone who pointed us in the right direction but when we returned to the bus the driver/guide gave zero shits when we told him what happened. Everyone on the bus looked supremely annoyed by us which was great. Love that. We also sent multiple texts and messages to the guide and Hello Cracow while we were lost that went unanswered. If this happens to you, go to the right when you exit!! It's through the park.

Very good organization: - message 24 hours in advance to specify the time you need to be at the meeting point, the driver was very pleasant and attentive (there were 6 of us and we had a private van) - the driver gave us our tickets and accompanied us to the meeting point with the guide - he also told us where to meet up after the tour - the tour was very good, with a guide who took her time - there's a lot of walking and long corridors, so bring a good pair of shoes and comfortable clothes.

A must to visit! . There are 800 steps down to the various levels but this is in three stages so it's pretty easy going. The sculptures and rooms carved out are tremendous. There are rest stops with cafes underground. Some people say it's a bit claustrophobic but we didn't feel this at all. The temperature is between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius so it's not cold. Coach transfer was very good and we were informed were we were being picked up well before.

We had a great time at the salt mine tour. The pick up point was easily found and the guide Kate on the coach was brilliant. I would highly recommend it. Kid friendly, wear comfortable shoes for the stairs.

Beautiful experience, a fascinating place full of history, when you go down into the depths your thoughts go to the miners who with their heavy work left a priceless heritage, the sculptures are wonderful, the majestic chapel is something unique. I recommend anyone who goes to Krakow to visit the salt mines.
