    As you take your seat, you’ll be welcomed by the Tūhourangi Ngāti Wāhiao people living in the village for generations. The performance begins with haka—a traditional war dance made popular around the world by New Zealand’s rugby teams. You’ll also see graceful poi dances and melodic waiata (songs), each telling a story of Māori heritage. The natural geothermal landscape surrounds the village, creating a one-of-a-kind setting for this cultural experience.
