I had a fantastic first day in Krakow. I was picked up at the agreed-upon time to join a group at Wawel Castle. The guide for the French-language tour was wonderful, and the tour was fascinating—covering Polish history and the splendor of the castle and its furnishings. What a sight! Afterward, I was taken to a very good restaurant, where I was picked up along with another group of French tourists to be taken to the Wieliczka Salt Mines. A breathtaking tour! The tour was very well organized. I’m delighted with how this first day went.

Wawel Cathedral is an active place of worship, and during significant religious, state, or jubilee events, or visits from VIP guests, access to the cathedral, royal tombs, or bell tower may be restricted without prior notice.

If access is restricted, your tour will be replaced with another visit within the castle complex.

A dress code is required for entry to places of worship and selected museums. Shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed, and both men and women must cover their knees and shoulders. Entry may be refused if these requirements are not met.

The duration of the tour with entry to the Rynek Underground Museum is 5 hours and 30 minutes.
