Buying tickets was very convenient and quick, and the zoo itself is really great. Unfortunately, there were no animals in some areas, but that wasn't a problem. The zoo is very large; it took us three hours to see it all.

A lovely day out at Warsaw zoo , a very clean well looked after space, well cared for animals that seem happy and eating well. Really lovely day out in such a lovely environment and for only £7 each !

Exploring the Warsaw Zoo

Visit the Warsaw Zoo, and step into a whole different world with skip-the-line access! Your adventure starts at the Elephant House. Did you know elephants have amazing memories? Watch these gentle giants and see for yourself. Then, there's the Ape House. It's like meeting distant relatives – gorillas and chimps. They're so much like humans, it's uncanny.

Discoveries around every corner

Next up, the Terrarium and Aviary. In the Terrarium, you'll see all sorts of reptiles and amphibians. Imagine snakes slithering and frogs hopping right in front of you. And the Aviary? It's like a concert of bird songs. For the little ones, the Children’s Zoo is a treat. They can pet and play with friendly animals like goats and rabbits.

What to bring

Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Depending on the weather, you might want a hat, sunglasses, or a raincoat.

What's not allowed

Items like weapons, alcohol, and drones are not permitted.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted, except for service animals.

Some areas may restrict photography or video recording, so keep an eye out for signs.

Accessibility

The zoo is equipped with ramps and accessible paths for wheelchairs.

Accessible parking is available, and the zoo is reachable via public transport with facilities for those with mobility constraints.

Penguins: 9:30am and 2pm (cancelled during winters)

Chimpanzees: 11am

Piranha: 11:30am (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)

Pacu piranha: 12:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Gorillas: 1pm

Seals: 10am and 2:30pm
