Modernist Masterpiece

Constructed between 1928 and 1931 by the architects Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, better known as Le Corbusier, and Pierre Jeanneret, Villa Savoye, also known as "Les Heures Claires," embodies Le Corbusier's 1927 principles of modern architecture. With this ticket, you'll have the opportunity to step inside and explore the functionalist design principles that define the living, dining, bedroom, and bathroom spaces of Villa Savoye.

5-Point Wonder

Observe the 5-point architecture, which champions functionalism, minimalism, and the use of modern materials. These principles are embodied in the use of pilotis (elevated supports), free facade (non-load-bearing walls), open layout (flexible interior spaces), horizontal windows (abundant natural light), and rooftop gardens (multi-functional spaces).

Marvel at this architectural wonder as Villa Savoye, lovingly nicknamed "Les Heures Claires" ("The Sunny Hours") by the Savoye family, captures abundant natural light from all sides. The extensive bay window on the first floor ensures an awe-inspiring play of sunlight throughout. Additionally, rooflights strategically positioned on the flat roofs create mesmerizing light shafts that penetrate into the garage area.
