Hi, I'm Dragoș... My wife and I were in Venice from June 25, 2026, to July 2, 2026. We hadn't done our research properly and ended up buying tickets for the Doge's Palace just one day before our visit. None of the websites we knew of had tickets available anymore... naturally... we were upset... but we stumbled upon this HEADOUT platform, which gave us the chance to visit this extraordinary attraction. Visiting the Doge's Palace was pretty good. Exchanging the voucher for a ticket at the entrance was a bit tricky, but the staff on site knew what they were doing. They could make all that clear in advance! There aren’t enough places to sit during the tour, especially when it’s so warm—you really want to take a break. Other than that, there was so much to see—it was truly overwhelming!

I stayed in Marghera for the weekend and had done some research beforehand on what to see and how to get around. I bought a 48-hour ticket online for €35.00, which was very convenient for traveling by vaporetto and buses on the mainland. It’s a very charming city, truly full of places to visit. I was particularly struck by Lido for its cleanliness and the scent of linden trees that filled the air as I strolled through the streets. Don’t miss the traditional cicchetti found along the Fondamenta della Misericordia in the Cannaregio area. A must-see stop is Burano for its colorful houses and lace. There’s a lot of walking involved, so I definitely recommend comfortable shoes!

What a place steepped in history. Straight to the entrance no queue. We went at 4.30 in early July on a week day and the Dogs Palace can be visited (stopping here and there) in about 1h30 mins. In July they close at 7.

Tickets must be validated before boarding ACTV public transport. The ACTV Tickets and Travelcard are activated from the moment they are first validated.

One luggage item is allowed, with a maximum total size of 150 cm (length + width + height).

The Venice Pass is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.

The pass is activated when you use it at the first attraction and is valid for consecutive days.

Entry to Doge’s Palace is valid only on the date selected during booking.

Visits to Doge’s Palace are permitted between 12pm and 6pm. Waiting times may occur due to required security checks.

You will receive an ACTV Public Transport Services Voucher via email. There is no need to print the same. Exchange this at the Venezia Unica ticket office at Piazzale Roma and redeem a paper ticket with your voucher. You can also use the Venezia Unica self-service ticket machine present at the ticket office.

Venice Museum Pass

You will receive an email with your Venice Museum Pass shortly. Download the pass on your mobile device or print it out according to your own convenience and display your voucher at the museum entrances as mentioned in the mail for prompt entry. The pass will be activated after its first usage and will remain active for consecutive days depending on your choice of pass.

The admission to DOGE'S PALACE is valid ONLY for the date selected at the time of purchase.
