  • St. Peter’s Basilica and other religious sites are subject to closures for religious ceremonies. Should this happen, the guests will be provided with an extended tour of the Vatican Museums, and an appropriate alternative.

  • Dressing appropriately is mandatory for some sites on this tour. Ensure that your knees, shoulders, and backs are covered.

  • This tour happens every day of the week excluding Sundays.

Meeting Point

- Meet your tour guide at the Bottom of the wide STEPS across the street (Viale Vaticano) from the Entrance of the Vatican Museums. 
- The steps are located between 'Caffè Vaticano' and 'Hotel Alimandi Vaticano'.
- Your Tour guide will be waiting at the bottom of the steps on the corner of Via Tunisi and Via Sebastiano wearing blue City Wonders/Guideman polo shirts or jackets for easy recognition.

Getting There

  • Nearest metro stations are Cipro and Ottaviano, both are just which is 5-10 minutes walk from the Vatican Museums.

    • Line A (Orange line) of the Rome Metro stops at both the stations every few minutes. It runs from the northwest to southeast, from Battistini to Anagnina.
