At Universal Studios Japan, waiting in line can eat up your day, but with the Express Pass 4, you can skip the queues for four top attractions. You’ll get to choose two of the rides, ensuring you get the best of what the park offers without wasting time.

Mario & magic

Start your adventure with Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge, the world’s first interactive Mario Kart ride. Speed through vibrant courses from the Mario universe, racing against the clock and dodging enemies. Next, experience the magic of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™. This upgraded ride brings Hogwarts and the wizarding world to life with 360° visuals and powerful effects. Feel the heat of a dragon’s fire and the chill of Dementors as you join Harry and friends on an unforgettable adventure.

Thrills & spins

For your third ride, you can pick between two high-adrenaline experiences. Hollywood Dream - The Ride offers an exhilarating roller coaster experience with the wind in your hair and a soundtrack of your choice. Alternatively, The Flying Dinosaur takes you on the world’s longest coaster track, where a Pteranodon pulls you into the sky for a swing. Your final ride choice is between Space Fantasy – The Ride or JAWS™. In Space Fantasy, you’ll zoom through space, dodging asteroids and soaring past planets, while JAWS™ offers a terrifying boat ride with a giant shark attack.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind sharp tools or objects, weapons, food and beverages (baby food is permitted), tripods, drones, glass bottles, and cans are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Keep your camera tucked away - photography is strictly not allowed at some parts of the venue like during quizzes and in construction sites.

Shutterbugs, take note: Flash photography is a no-go inside some areas of the venue.

Re-entering Universal Studios Japan after leaving is not permitted.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

It will be required for wheelchair users to switch to the seats in the attraction.

It is required to get in touch with a crew member for guests with a wig, prosthetic limb, plaster cast, or a medical assistant tool.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

To use the "Area Timed Entry Ticket" at Universal Studios Japan, you must reserve a specific time slot either before your visit or on the day you arrive.

You can make this reservation through the Universal Studios Japan official app or directly at a kiosk located within the park.

Guests cannot select their preferred entry time for each ride.

Guests can only enter specific rides during the time shown on their Express Pass.

Entry times to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are randomly assigned by Universal Studios Japan. Be present during the assigned time to ensure entry.

Attractions may be closed on certain days for maintenance.

Operation of attractions is subject to change without prior notice or liability.

Each Express Pass for closed attractions allows you to experience one of the designated attractions and reach out to on-site staff.
