I bought the tickets online—the whole process was very simple and easy to understand. Seven of us went to Universal Studios; it was really crowded even though it was a Wednesday, with lots of tourists, but even so, the maximum wait time was 50 minutes—though we didn’t wait that long. The lines moved quickly, the park is wonderful and rich in detail, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I hope to return soon.

After the end of my five year relationship earlier this year Universal Studios Japan was more than a theme park, it was my first trip to Japan, my birthday, and a reunion with my nephew after 10 years. We laughed, made new memories, and felt like kids again with my nephew. For a little while, Universal helped us forget everything and simply enjoy the moment and living the life.

Getting started

Enter Abeno Harukas through the Kintetsu Department Store building. Show your ticket at the Harukas 300 reception on the 16th floor. Take the high-speed elevator up.

What to expect

Harukas 300 is the highest observation deck in Japan, offering sweeping views of Osaka from 300 meters above ground.

Access the 58th to 60th floors for indoor panoramic city views.

Relax at the Sky Garden with café seating and floor-to-ceiling glass walls.

Optional upgrade available for a heliport tour with 360° open-air views.

What's not allowed

Harukas 300

Visitors should refrain from having food and drinks inside the observatory except when inside the cafe located on the 58th floor.

Guests aged 3 and below are restricted from participating in the heliport tour.

This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

Depending on your height or medical condition, you may be unable to use some attractions.

The entrance fee also covers the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous Tenku Hanabi fireworks in the Sky Garden area.

Make sure to arrive at least 15 mins prior to the Heliport tour so that you can have sufficient time to complete the registration process at the Information Counter on the 60th floor.
