The park was great. It was full, but I was still able to get on every ride multiple times. It had some of the most exciting rides I've been on, especially the Flying Dinosaur ride. Would absolutely recommend.

Definitely a must buy, saved us a lot of time average wait time was 120 hours if you didn't have the express pass. If you want a true good Universal Experience definitely buy it.

Getting started

Enter Universal Studios Japan using your 1-Day Studio Pass QR code. Once inside, keep your separate Express Pass QR ready and scan it at the designated entrance of Mine Cart Madness™ and other eligible attractions. Your Express Pass ride timings are allocated by the park, so check your voucher for the timings assigned to you.

What to expect

Universal Studios Japan

Your 1-Day Studio Pass gives you entry to Universal Studios Japan for the day, with access to the park's attractions. Your Express Pass adds priority access to Mine Cart Madness™ and other selected rides.

Start with Mine Cart Madness™, the hero attraction for this product, and use your Express Pass at its designated entrance.

Use Express access at attractions such as Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge™, Flight of the Hippogriff™, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, and Yoshi's Adventure, as per option selected.

Depending on your selected configuration, use Express access at Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem or The Flying Dinosaur, and Jurassic Park - The Ride™ or JAWS.

Super Nintendo World™

Your selected Express Pass configuration also includes timed entry to Super Nintendo World™, allowing you to visit the area during your allocated time.

Check your voucher for the Super Nintendo World™ entry timing assigned by the park.

Explore the themed area and use any included Express entitlements covered by your selected configuration.

If Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ is included in your Express Pass, you can use its Express Pass lane anytime during park hours because The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ no longer requires timed entry.

Using your Express Pass

Your Express Pass is provided separately from your Studio Pass and is used at the entrance of each eligible ride.

Scan your Express Pass QR code at the designated entrance of each included attraction.

Each attraction can be accessed once with the Express Pass.

Ride time slots included in your Express Pass are allocated randomly by the park.

What's not allowed

Re-entry to the park is not allowed once you exit the park.

Accessibility

This experience is accessible by wheelchairs and prams/strollers.

Wheelchairs and strollers can be rented for a small fee. However, they are subject to availability and cannot be reserved beforehand.

It will be required for wheelchair users to switch to the seats in the attraction.

It is required to get in touch with a crew member for guests with a wig, prosthetic limb, plaster cast, or a medical assistant tool.

This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

Depending on your height or medical condition, you may be unable to use some attractions.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ no longer requires timed entry. If Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ is included in your Express Pass, you can ride anytime during park hours using the Express Pass lane.

You can upload your USJ Studio Pass ticket on the USJ app to secure timed entry to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.

Please note that USJ Express Pass tickets cannot be uploaded in the USJ app as there is no such provision.

The Studio Pass is used for entry into the theme park, while the Express Pass is used at the entrance of each ride for priority access.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
