What makes this pass special is its balance of thrilling rides, family-friendly entertainment, and interactive experiences. You'll get a taste of everything USJ has to offer. You also get timed entry to Super Nintendo World™ and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, so you don't need to worry about crowds or time constraints when visiting these zones.

About the rides

The Detective Conan 4-D Live Show: Jewel Under the Starry Sky: If you're into anime, you'll love this. It's based on the Detective Conan series, and you help solve mysteries with live actors! Plus, the amazing 4D effects will make you feel like you're right in the middle of the action.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem: A total laugh fest from start to finish. The pre-show sets the stage, then the ride turns you into a Minion, all via a motion simulator and a massive dome screen. Pure chaotic fun.

Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge: Race through the Mushroom Kingdom on the world’s first real-life Mario Kart ride. AR headsets make it thrillingly authentic.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™: This is one of the most popular rides at Universal Studios Japan. They use these high-tech robotic arms to sweep you through Hogwarts for 5 minutes. The visuals are incredibly sharp (4K-HD, no less!) and you don't even need 3D glasses. You'll feel the heat from dragon breath and the chill from Dementors.

What's not allowed

It is not allowed to photograph or record videos within the premises.

Accessibility

It will be required for wheelchair users to switch to the seats in the attraction.

It is required to get in touch with a crew member for guests with a wig, prosthetic limb, plaster cast, or a medical assistant tool.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

To use the "Area Timed Entry Ticket" at Universal Studios Japan, you must reserve a specific time slot either before your visit or on the day you arrive.

You can make this reservation through the Universal Studios Japan official app or directly at a kiosk located within the park.

Guests cannot select their preferred entry time for each ride.

Guests can only enter specific rides during the time shown on their Express Pass.

Entry times to the Super Nintendo World™ and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are randomly assigned by Universal Studios Japan. Be present during the assigned time to ensure entry.

Attractions may be closed on certain days for maintenance.

Operation of attractions is subject to change without prior notice or liability.

Each Express Pass for closed attractions allows you to experience one of the designated attractions and reach out to on-site staff.
