The crew is a well-coordinated team. The commentary was easy to follow in both English and German. The stories were charming and funny. They drew on personal experiences, current media coverage, and perhaps even some insider knowledge. I lived in Berlin myself for eight years, but seeing it from a tourist’s perspective made it much more entertaining and interesting. I’d just like to pass on the following to the owners of the Haydinski shipping company: Charging 5.30 euros for a glass of Coke is, quite frankly, outrageous. That’s my only criticism.

The TV Tower in Berlin is a truly breathtaking experience. We had tickets for 10:00 p.m., which was the perfect time to catch the beginning of dusk! It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to end our day!

The booking and check-in were straightforward and went smoothly. I was particularly pleased with the clear communication and information regarding the last-minute change to the itinerary, as the Water Police were on duty that day, resulting in a temporary suspension of boat traffic. The padded chairs were comfortable and arranged in rows. Thanks to the open seating and the small tables, the seating arrangement was pleasant. Drinks and snacks could be ordered during the trip. Andreas’s live commentary was a special highlight: humorous, informative, and varied. He shared interesting anecdotes, answered questions, and made sure that both the outbound and return trips were engaging and entertaining. All in all, a very successful cruise with good organization, friendly service, and a great guide. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the cruise anytime.

Large bags, tripods, prams, pets, and extensive luggage are not allowed inside, but a free cloakroom is available just after the security check to store any oversized items.

Accessibility:

The tower is not wheelchair accessible due to its 1960s design and strict fire regulations.

Additional information:

All guests, regardless of ticket type, must pass through a metal detector and security screening upon entry.

Visit the Berlin TV Tower right at opening (9am to 10am), or during the final hour before closing (10pm to 11pm) for fewer crowds and unbeatable city views in soft, golden light.

Children under the age of 4 can enter the Berlin TV Tower for free, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian with a valid ticket.
