On my 50th birthday, my husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Spere on the Berlin TV Tower. It was a great way to start the day! The menu featured down-to-earth dishes that were of good quality. Nothing was overly fancy—just typical Berlin.

What an impressive experience. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while watching all of Berlin go by. Fresh rolls, delicious, high-quality fillings, and very friendly service. I ordered another nice cup of coffee, since I had plenty of time. Looking back on a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Opened in 1969, the Berlin TV Tower is the city’s tallest structure and a symbol of modern Berlin. Its revolving Sphere Restaurant by Tim Raue sits more than 200 meters above Alexanderplatz, offering a unique vantage point over the German capital.

Chef Tim Raue’s Menu: Enjoy a 3- or 4-course meal crafted by the Michelin-starred chef, blending creativity with local ingredients.

Drinks: Indulge in a wide range of beverages to complement your dining experience, including sparkling aperitifs, wine pairings, specialty coffee or tea, and refreshing non-alcoholic options for kids.

Iconic Landmarks: Spot the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, and the Spree River from your table, turning every course into a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

What to bring Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

What’s not allowed

Baby strollers, baby carriages, bikes, skateboards, and scooters are not allowed inside the venue.

Large luggage, including suitcases, bags, and shopping bags, is not permitted inside the tower. Backpacks must not exceed 45 × 35 × 20 cm (W × H × L).

Accessibility

The Berlin TV Tower is not barrier-free. Wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility cannot access the tower.

Additional information

While there is table reservation, specific table preferences or window seatings cannot be guaranteed for all 3 options, as seating is assigned based on availability.

For children, only non-alcoholic drinks are included

This activity is non-refundable.

Children aged 0–3 can enter free of charge but must be included in the booking.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation time to allow for security checks and elevator access.

The duration of your visit is approximately 2 hours.

Baby carriages are not permitted upstairs but can be stored free of charge at the cloakroom.

Payments at the Sphere Bar on the Observation Deck and at Restaurant Sphere are cashless. EC, debit, and credit cards are accepted.

Restaurant table reservations are automatically arranged when you purchase a restaurant ticket or restaurant package.
