End Your Tour At The Auschwitz II-Birkenau Camp

For the next part of the tour, follow your guide to the Auschwitz II-Birkenau Camp, located 3 km (or 2 miles) away from the main camp. This site was the main extermination camp as 90% of the overall exterminations at Auschwitz took place there. The four gas chambers and multiple crematoriums can be an overwhelming sight for most visitors. Take a moment if you need to or take a solemn walk among the barracks, watchtowers, and railway tracks; all of which act as a painful reminder of the industrial scale of this tragedy. Lastly, this tour also includes complimentary lunch at a nearby restaurant, where you can savour some local delicacies. This trip draws to a close after you’re driven back to your starting point in Warsaw.
