Important Information

Train routes: JR East Lines, Izu Kyuko Lines, Hokuetsu Express, Echigo Tokimeki Railway, the Nikko, the SPACIA Nikko, the Kinugawa, the SPACIA Kinugawa, local and rapid trains between Shino-imaichi and Tobu-Nikko/Kinugawa-Onsen, limited express trains between the Kurihashi and Shimo-imachi stations, connecting directly to Tobu Railway lines.

The pass is only available for passport holders of foreign countries and is restricted to one per person.

Please carry your passport for travel and receipt of the voucher.

While traveling in Japan, each visitor may have one JR EAST PASS (Nagano, Niigata area) at a time. A new pass may not be purchased if another one is still in use.

This pass allows unlimited rides on all JR East train lines in the JR EAST PASS (Nagano, Niigata area) designated area.

If you take trains outside of the valid area, you might have to pay extra fares.

You will need to show the E-Ticket and passport when collecting 'JR EAST PASS' at the designated location in Japan. A copy of the passport cannot be used to collect a pass.

The JR EAST Ticket Office at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station and Narita Airport Terminal 2·3 Station is available only when the JR EAST Travel Service Centers at those stations are closed.
