The longest river in Prague, Vltava is around 430 km long. It spans more than half of the Bohemian region and around a third of of the Czech Republic. This magnificent river flows past 18 bridges including the Charles Bridge that will be sighted on the cruise.
The Charles Bridge is one of the most popular sites to visit in all of Czech Republic. Rich in architectural heritage, it makes for a stunning sight.
The cruise lets you take in the splendour of the Prague Castle. The St. Vitus Cathedral, which is home to the world-renowned Bohemian Crown Jewels, is also one of the primary attractions within the castle walls. It was a pleasant cruise but it was 50min rather than the advertised 1hr. The full cycle was 1 hr - getting on and off the boat took a few minutes too.
The sights of Prague from the Vltava are nothing short of staggering. If you haven't seen them from the water, what are you waiting for?
We booked the 2 hour cruise with pasteries from Headout, and I must say the experience was nothing short of magical. The best time to experience this would be around sunset. Highly recommended!
