I thought the ticket price was poor value for money: the printed leaflet had very limited information - we didn't visit any of the gift shops so didn't see any paid-for glossy information, which we would have bought; the audio guide had several stations missing and the text was very infantile - as if for children - and did not address the obvious questions an intelligent adult might have. Also, the walk up from the Malostranska metro should have been described as extremely arduous for folks with limited mobilty - there should have been an explantion online about how to get nearer to the site by public transport. And the final straw was being asked to pay extra for the Picture Gallery... All in all, it is clear that a successful visit to Prague Castle requires a tourist to do far more preparatory research than we evidently did!

We loved the experience. The views are spectacular. The only issue we had was the ticket told us to go to area III to get your ticket. And that was not correct. The person there said to go to information. So we did and there was a large line but we waited. Then they told us that information isn't correct either that we had to go outside and fine people with umbrellas. After about 30 minutes we finally got our tickets and were able to go inside. Still a great price for everything, I think the venue needed to be more specific on where to go. I don't totally feel it was an issue on your end.

Ticket handover, introduction to the audio guides and brief explanations of the castle and cathedral were smooth and perfect. Everyone in the tour group (school class) got on easily with the guide - even the teachers ;-)))

To be improved: explanation of e-mail/ticket exchange on site. Needs improvement: explanations of reception procedures. Why get a ticket with a timetable if it's not a queue-breaker: we couldn't visit the palace.

The audio guide and the guide Bogdan, explained everything very well and extensively. The worst thing was that we could only see one room of the Royal Palace due to official events.

Please meet the representative with a blue and white umbrella in front of the main entrance to St. Vitus Cathedral, who will exchange your voucher for a ticket to the Prague Castle interiors.
A working internet connection is essential for the online audio guide to work properly.
Meet the representative at the corner of the Prague Castle complex's III courtyard next to the St. Vitus Cathedral. Look out for an open blue and white umbrella. It is strongly advised to enter the Prague Castle complex from the side entrance of the Pražský Hrad tram station.
If you have opted for the mobile guide, you will also receive an introduction to the guide functionality, along with an orientation map.
Note: Your ticket is valid for 2 days (from the day you receive it) and allows you one-time entry to each attraction from circuit B.
Please note that parts of the Prague Castle complex might be subject to closures due to special events.
