You sit nice and high in the bus, in the open air so you can see everything well and also feel the wind through your hair! The bus stops at each stop for a good length of time, so you don't have to get off in a hurry. Just keep in mind that the bus goes 1 way. Especially if you have several tickets on 1 day, e.g. Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, that you plan them in order of time of the route, otherwise you can not go back: e.g. first Sagrada and then Park Guell. We had planned the other way around right after each other and then you still have to take a cab back to Sagrada because otherwise you have to drive around the whole route.

Very practical for getting around Barcelona's various tourist attractions. Frequency in normal periods quite high. One drawback concerning information: the buses were blocked by a demonstration; we waited 45 minutes at a stop for nothing and finally left on foot: no information, no number to contact, no one to alert us whereas, on the contrary, on the first day, there were staff to welcome us at the stop. A pity... The audioguides are rather average, not very detailed. An area for improvement

I loved this tour! It was so helpful to travel around the city with narration of sights. Barcelona is much bigger than I expected, so I was able to orient myself on day one. The staff were helpful and friendly, too. All around great experience. Highly recommend!

The Hop On Hop Off bus is the best thing to do to explore a new city. We had a wonderful day riding on the top, seeing and hearing all about this beautiful city. The bus was clean and the commentary very interesting.
