Beefeater Jimmy and guide prior were both great and entertaining as well as informative. Was a great experience for wife and myself. Only thing is that the tour did not mention it is a beginning and after tour it was easily 2-3 more hours of things to see after the Beefeater finished. Still a great experience!

I have debated this tour many times before on different trips. It was great. We (2 Adults + 16yr + 12yr old) got the early access with a Beefeater tour. Amazing. Highly recommended. We loved it.

A lovely visit in the sunshine. The crown jewels are amazing, especially with no lines at this time of year. Henry VIII's armor is impressive.

There was quite a gab between my expectation and final outcome. I expected to be one of the first in the tower, as highlighted as EARLY access. This Was not the case. The - actually quite nice - guide did a 30min talk outside the Tower. when we were at the entry, many other were also entering with common Tickets. We were than 'handed over" to the Beefeater. But our quite big group (gestimate around 24), was even further enhanced by foreigners which just joined. And some of them were pretty ignorant, we had to stop a few times to clear up the group again. It was really difficult for the kids - as they clearly should have been in the first row. Which the core group kind of did, as we had quite a few elder kids. After another , estimate 20min with the Beefeater ,- we were left by ourselves to walk around. Hence, we were also queuing to see the crown jewels like anybody else. And taking a picture with a Beefeater would have been also feasible w/o the tour We weren't recognized , the did story telling etc for free if you ask the question. Also, a few tourist guide are also inside the tower awaiting customers. All in all.. I felt this was a tourist nap. And remember it is double the entrance price.
