Beautiful site. Lots of people. Nice visit. My visit to St Peter's Basilica was cancelled after an hour's wait with the guide. Difficult to accept. It's not right to offer tours if you know that there will be 0 Pilgrims and that the Basilica is closed to those who have paid. I had booked a guided tour with an elevator up to the dome. It wasn't free. Despite several complaints, I've had no reply. 😡

The fact of having your ticket cut in line, the set time and the row to follow. I highly recommend buying a ticket from headout, which also gives you plenty of warning one hour before the attraction, so you don't forget. It's true that there are different sites with different prices offering tickets for different attractions, but headout remains a reliable site.

access to the Coloseum was well organized, unfortunatelythe access to Paatin and Forum Romanum was much less. Very long line. When I was almost at the entrance an employee came by and told me that there was also another entrance just past the gate of Contantine. Too bad this was not indicated more clearly.

    You should have seen the Colloseum and the associated sites, such as the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. We can really recommend the skip-the-line tickets. It saves a lot of time. Wear good shoes, drink plenty and take breaks, then it will be a great day.

    The experience is spectacular. It was very crowded so we were thankful we got our tickets in advance. I recommend booking early, as we were there for 5:15pm and didn't make it to the book and gift store. It closed early

    • Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

    • The security check can take 30 minutes or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phones) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.
