Went with my partner and honestly, the sunset behind Tanah Lot while the dancers started up was just… wow. Didn’t expect much from the temple after reading about the crowds, but the dance show made up for it BIG TIME. The colors, the music, the way they move their hands (like, I tried, and failed lol). We arrived a bit late because our driver took a weird route—traffic can be WILD, so add some buffer time. Sit closer if you can, you can see all the details on the costumes. Wish there was a bit more info about the story beforehand, but I kept asking the lady next to me and she was super sweet. If you’re debating, do it!

Loved the performance! Came with my mom and cousin. The dancers are just amazing, and the setting with the sea breeze was so unique. Only thing is, the sun was right in our eyes for the first bit (bring sunglasses if you go around 5pm). Vendors everywhere selling snacks—grab a coconut, it's super refreshing. The temple area felt a bit commercial tbh, but still pretty. Would recommend!

Went solo and was a bit nervous, but the staff were soooo friendly. They helped me find a seat with a good view, and even explained a bit about the story. LOVED the fire part, even if it was kinda short. Met some other travelers after and we got dinner nearby. Def worth it if you want something special in Bali.

We loved this dance more then others that we saw on Bali. Its spectacular and time flies. For us it was a plus that it was dark already and we couldn't book the sunset dance. Both has its pros.

The Sunset Firedance is a must see on your bucket list. Amazing and entertaining. The dancers were gracious, the white monkey was cheeky and the beat from the group of men was faultless.
