Les Misérables — Teatro Apolo, Madrid Many years ago I had the chance to see Les Misérables, and now I've once again enjoyed this extraordinary musical in Madrid. Beyond the music, the performances, and the power of the story, this time something impressed me in particular: the spectacular use of the stage. Teatro Apolo isn't particularly large, and yet the ability to transform that space, create depth, change atmospheres, and take us from one scene to another is truly astonishing. That's why today I'd like to give special credit to those we don't see. To the lighting crew, capable of transforming a space with light; to the stagehands and technicians, who make transitions of admirable precision possible; to the costume designers and makers; and to all the professionals working behind the curtain. There's an enormous amount of talent, engineering, creativity, coordination, and craft in every performance. The actors deservedly receive the audience's applause. But this time I'd like to dedicate mine especially to everyone whose names we don't know and whose faces we don't see. Because a fundamental part of the theater's magic is created precisely by those who remain invisible. Congratulations to the entire team of Les Misérables!

First time watching it in Spanish ( my native language ). The voices and acting voices were impecable! Solos and as a ensamble . It brought me to tears. I didn't take photos. I volunteered years ago with a professional ballet company and a flash could make a ballerina fall. Things have changed with time and that can be avoided, but I didn't want to miss a detail. You definitely have the best cast I have ever had the pleasure to watch. Congratulations Jackie Wasserman

Wonderful... top-notch... excellent set design... impeccable sound... very good performances by the actors... a play I'd highly recommend, and I’d love to see it again if it ever comes to Argentina... incredible what Victor Hugo conveys with this work... it's not for nothing that it has remained relevant for so many decades. Advice: you can't miss seeing and hearing this play...

What an incredible show! I had only seen it multiple times in English. I wasn't ready for all that emotion; I cried from start to finish. Beautiful performances, incredible voices. The only thing that would make me even happier would be being able to buy the CD with the music I heard that night. I looked up the Madrid show on Spotify, but it's not the same cast; it seems to be an older production. Thank you for giving me such a magnificent night.

The story

I went to see the performance of Les Misérables in Madrid. The production is incredible; the set, costumes, and staging are meticulously done. Even though I don't speak Spanish, the music and performances convey all the emotion of the story. I was especially moved by the characters of Fantine and Éponine. An unforgettable musical experience—I highly recommend this show.
