Westminster Abbey is absolutely awe-inspiring. The soaring Gothic arches, intricate stonework, and stunning stained glass create an atmosphere that’s both majestic and moving. Walking through its halls, you’re surrounded by centuries of history—royal coronations, weddings, and the resting places of monarchs, poets, and scientists. Poets’ Corner and the Coronation Chair were highlights, and the quiet cloisters offered a beautiful moment of reflection. The audio guide and knowledgeable staff added so much depth to the experience. Whether for its history, architecture, or spiritual presence, Westminster Abbey is a must-see in London. 💡 Tip: Arrive early to enjoy it before the crowds.

Westminster Abbey visit was amazing. We were overwhelmed by the vast amount of history here. Very spiritual experience with a Mass in progress during the visit. The gardens were a tranquil break. Architecture was stunning. Easily purchased tickets through Headout and they arrived in my mailbox less than an hour later. We didn't meet the guide - just went straight in (no queue at 12.30pm) following the security bag check of course. The link to audio sent by Headout with the tickets was very useful- probably the same one given out on entry but using my own device and headphones was more convenient.

We went early to be there at opening. The entrance was not marked, so those waiting did not know where to start a line. Once inside, the crowd was divided into two sections. Why, I don't know. When we reached the ticket booth, we needed to provide the source of our tickets. If they want to keep track of that, they should improve their software.

My family discovered my 13th great grandfather was buried in Westminster Abbey so we visited today and found where he and his wife are buried. His name was Sir Giles Daubeny. We appreciate the assistance from one of attendants there to help us find his burial spot. We are overwhelmed with this finding!

Visiting the abbey was memorable. Although there was a big crowd there was plenty of space to move around. I noticed that people were respectful many sitting quietly just reflecting or contemplating and listening to the audio. So much to see and absorb. Wonderful to see our own Ernrst Rutherford with a plaque on the floor. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea in the cafe.

The queue is exceptionally well organized; if you arrive around the time on tyour ticket, you will inmediately be let in. The crowd is a bit much, making walking thorugh the narrow spaces sometimes complicated and not leaving enough time to view special corners like the tombs of Queens Mary and Elizabeth. The audioguide is ok, but could be better if it dealt more in depth with historic questions (perhaps and additional chapter for those interested?) Walking into the abbey is like walking into history itself and being able to relieve it from the present. All this is a bit lost because of the size of the crowd and the way they sometimes behave (as an example: I saw a family happily walk over the memorial stone for Churchill at the exit, not because the were not paying attention to where they went, but because they made a point out of it and filmed each and every member doing it)
